Our purpose
Andishi Africa is the premier Pan-African literary platform, fostering a community of writers dedicated to African literature. Andishi Africa promotes the readership of African authors and more documentation of African stories. It aims to inculcate a reading and writing culture among youths, young adults and early learners all over Africa. This platform uses technology to drive its mission of diversifying the representation of African Literary and cultural wealth in the international arena.

Programs
In order to reach our purpose and mission, we run different programs.
Hadithi Hadithi Foundational Literacy Program
Foundational learning is key to the development of an individual. To promote interest in creative reading and writing, we heavily invest in early literacy and information skills among early learners in Kenya.
Hadithi Creatives Felowship
This is a felloship program for budding storyteller, scriptwriter, or future novelist and author and is currently in high school. The individuals show a passion for creative writing and the desire to hone their skills.
Book reading and writing communities.
We take pride in building communities that celebrate African-authored literature, novels, art, and culture. We have successfully established book clubs in various African cities.
